Brave man.

Dennis Maitland figured out how to take #fromwhereistand to the next level…that level being the top floor of buildings all over Detroit.

An already brilliant service is getting even better. Hopefully.
Today is a big day - one of the biggest in the short-ish history of our small-ish company. For the past year (37 years in Internet time), we’ve been working nonstop on a project that we’ve desperately wanted to tell you about. Because, frankly, it’s all about you. Our willpower muscles are pretty much at the breaking point right now, and so we are doubly ecstatic to finally let the tiger out of the satchel and make this officially official announcement: We built you a new Vimeo.
To learn more about these new big things in more detail, head over to vimeo.com/new. It’s also the place where members can sign up to try the new Vimeo as we roll it out over the next few weeks. Go ahead - you know you want to check it out!

Watch the video, very inspiring.
Adam Braun is a good friend of mine, and It’s been an amazing pleasure to be a part of his organization, Pencils of Promise(I shoot all their imagery. Including the image on the screen of the girls running in this video). One of the fastest NGO’s started within the last 5 years. If you don’t know, they build schools for kids in the developing world.
I love this speech he gave on “For Purpose” at the Google Zeitgeist conference. It’s the ideal that him and I connected about in our first meeting. Give this video a watch. It will lend a little inspiration.
Take these points of Profitable Purpose:
1. Find your revolution. Find what you love most.
2. Speak the language of the person you want to become.
3. Embrace the late sleepless nights. -work when people sleep
4. Seek out the impossible ones. Believe in the impossible.
5. GTS- Google That Shit
